About

The school uses a variety of technologies in classroom instruction and office management.

Some of those technologies include (including parish devices):

  • Unified enterprise-grade wi-fi system including 7 access points (includes guest access)
  • 25 LCD projectors (one in each classroom 1-8)
  • 103 desktop computers, plus 30 workstations with virtualization (students have over 100 workstations available to them)
  • 17 laptops (most connected to media carts)
  • 13 Smart Boards (at least one in every grade level)
  • 4 netbooks
  • 4 iPads
  • 52 printers (inlcuding 4 color laser printers)
  • 4 Scanners
  • 5 Flip video cameras
  • 4 document cameras (Elmo & Epson)
  • 5 servers (two video, two files servers including email, one security/anti-virus)
  • 2 95ppm Copiers, 1 35ppm Color Copier
  • 2 fax machines
  • 8 24-port gigabit network switches
  • Variety of digital cameras
  • TeacherEase:  An online gradebook and administration  & communciation tool for the school.  A parent portal for grades, tuition, and reports.
  • Staff:  IT Director & Technology Integration Specialist

  • TeacherEase Online Grading System
  • School Insight Student Information System
  • Discovery Education for streaming video content
  • Free software including Tux Paint, Google Earth, Google Sketch Up, Gimp, Audacity, Adobe Reader,  and many web applications including WordPress for our teacher newsletters
  • Our technology course utilizes additional free software titles such as Comic Life, Gimp, Scratch, Storytelling Alice, Photo Story, and many others.

Our goal is to empower students, faculty, and staff to use a variety of technologies to facilitate classroom instruction, complete assignments, and work more efficiently.

Our robust technology department is staffed with a full time technology director, a technology instructor, technology committee, and student tech team.
