Mr. Chris Wagner serves as the Technology Director for the entire parish community. Guidance and support is provided for all ministries including school, religious education, youth, social concerns, music, and general office operations.
The role of the technology director is vast. Responsibilites include software support, hardware installations, repair & maintenance, budgeting, phone system management, staff training, and researching new technologies.
Under Chris’ direction, the parish community has benefited from the following accomplishments:
Deployment of the first parish file server for centralized storage, security, and backup.
First Exchange server installation providing remote email access and centralized management
Leader / Advisor of the first Student Tech Team to provide assistance to students & faculty
Introduced first interactive white boards from Smart Technologies to better engage student learning
Introduced first document camera for better display of documents and three dimensional objects.
Implemented first electronic grading system.
Upgraded network infrastructure to support larger file transfer and improve speed
