This week flew by! Here is what is coming up next week.

7th Literature:

We are wrapping up My Brother Sam is Dead and will be working on a final project, but only for two class periods.

Monday: Review chapter 11, read chapter 12, discussion questions

Tuesday: Review chapter 12, read chapter 13, discussion questions

Wednesday: My Path

Thursday: Review chapter 13, read chapter 14 and epilogue, discussion questions

Friday: Review chapter 14 and epilogue, begin final project (due on Thursday, October 29)

Coming soon:

Tuesday, October 27 – Begin reading The Giver by Lois Lowry

Thursday, October 29 – Sam final project due

Thursday, January 6 – All students need to bring their own copy of And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie to school. Students will be annotating this novel and need to be able to write in it.

7th Religion:

We finished our study of the Holy Trinity this week. Next week we will take a look at God, Our Loving Father

Monday: Saint of the Day – St. Isaac Jogues and companions, read and take notes on chapter 4 pages 44-45

Tuesday: Saint of the Day – St Paul of the Cross, Book of Luke bible study chapter 3 (due Tuesday, October 27)

Wednesday: Saint of the Day – St. Hilarion, watch 8am mass and reflect on the homily

Thursday: Saint of the Day – St. Pope John Paul II, St. John Paul II project

Friday: Saint of the Day – St. John of Capistrano, St. John Paul II project (due Monday, October 26)

8th Grade Literature:
