Fabulous First Grade

This week was full of learning and fun activities! We read an informational text titled, Time to Sleep. We focused on how an informational text is structured and practiced using our table of contents to look up information. We also started wrapping up our narratives. Students got to be engineers and design or redesign a plan or landing pad for an egg. We began to work on addition strategies such as counting on! We have also been hard at work working on parts of speech, our consonant sounds k/v/y and spelling our <or> patterned words!

Looking ahead to next week we will be learning…
