Week of January 13-17

We had a fantastic week in first grade! We are working on our new routines and being respectful towards our classmates. We have a short week coming up and we are continuously preparing for Catholic Schools Week!

In Language Arts we are busy working to create meaningful pieces of work to showcase our amazing talents at Open House and throughout Catholic Schools Week.

In Math we finishing up Chapter 6 at the end of the week. We are continuing to work on modeling and counting use base ten. Tens and ones are a lifelong skill and we will continue to practice these even after our assessment.

In Social Studies we will finish our discussion of different jobs that people have. We will complete our discussion of goods and services and test on Thursday.

In Religion we will talk in depth about Baptism and the importance it plays in our role as Catholics. We will review the seven sacraments as well to show an ever growing lifelong relation with Jesus.

God is GOOD, ALL THE TIME!
