Week of January 6th-10th

I cannot begin to thank all of you for your support and understanding this week. Thank you for making this transition easier for all of the students and myself. I truly am grateful and am excited for the remainder of the school year. It really is a Great Day to be a Cardinal! This week was full of new experiences and the students did an amazing job of working together to make our new class the best it can be.

In Language Arts we began our new story The Winner’s Choice, which discusses being thoughtful and understanding. We will continue to read The Winner’s Choice next week as well as beginning our Catholic Schools Week surprise!

In Math we began Chapter 6 which deals with understanding numbers in tens and ones. We will continue to learn and grow our knowledge for modeling numbers.

In Social Studies we discussed different jobs that people have. We talked about what each of our jobs are both at school and at home. We will discuss goods and services and the difference between them next week.

In Religion we talked about our parish and how we assist the community around us. We will learn and share how we celebrate God’s love for us.

God is GOOD, ALL THE TIME!

ALL THE TIME, GOD is GOOD!
