January 2019

With wrapping up our novel study of Kate DiCamillo’s Because of Winn Dixie, preparing supply and procedure lists for the “Egg Drop Challenge”, and discussing ways to restore our friendship with God, our Father, (just to name a few), the fourth graders have had a whirlwind of a week as students and teachers returned to the halls of St. Cletus!

Here’s a look at important upcoming events taking place at St. Cletus School:

Bottle Buddies are Coming!

Students were introduced to the grade four traditional “Bottle Buddy Project” this past Friday afternoon. Speak with your child to see who they chose to learn and write about! A graphic organizer and rubric were also handed out to assist your child along the way!

Books must be approved by your child’s teacher by Tuesday, January 15th.

Finished Bottle Buddies (completed at home) should be brought to school by Friday, January 25th.

Check out the final products of both our Bottle Buddies AND Winn Dixie Final Projects on Sunday, January 27th at our Open House.
