Reading: We are finishing up our Realistic Fiction independent book reports. These are due on Monday the 4th. We have a reading test coming up on identifying the main idea and details in a text. i-Ready packets are also due on Monday, and these were given to students on October 23rd.
Religion: We are just about to wrap up our lesson on Baptism. We have learned all about the symbols and meanings of Baptism, who can baptize, and what it means to be baptized. Our next sacrament is the Eucharist!
English Language Arts: This unit has been all about vowel pairs and diphthongs! We have a phonics test on Wednesday to show off how much we have learned.
i-Ready Math: Math packets are due on Monday. Everyone has unique lessons to complete! These were given to students on October 23rd, so they have had enough time to work on them.
Social Studies: The past couple of weeks, we have learned about the European Explorers who came to this land to expand empires and find resources. We have had debates on who was the most successful explorer, and we will continue these debates through next week. One of our students also made a review game that we will play before the test!
