Mr. Nowakowski 02/01 – 02/05

Greetings Families,

January has flown by due in part to Christmas break, remote learning, and the unexpected snow day.  I hope your Christmas season was enjoyable, and I ask all of you to continue to be mindful of our safety at school by following the public health guidelines.

Seventh grade is in the process of concluding Unit 10 – Verbs in our Writer’s Choice textbook.  Students have been reminded to spend some time at home reviewing and studying the corrected work in preparation for the open book test which will be taking place next week.

Eighth grade has been spending time working APA formatting and creating their reference lists for their science fair projects.  We will get back to Unit 10 in our Writer’s Choice book sometime very soon.  In addition to that, look tomorrow morning for an e-mail from Mrs. Campbell regarding registration for the Confirmation masses.

Catholic Schools’ Week begins next week.  There will be themed out of uniform days throughout the week for students to look forward to.  Catholic Schools’ Week is always a great reminder of the special opportunity that our students are given by attending a Catholic school, especially one like St. Cletus.
