We only have two more days until Christmas Break (which I always consider the halfway point of the school year)!
Monday: Watch A Christmas Carol
Tuesday: Watch A Christmas Carol – discuss the similarities and differences between the book and the movie
If you have not yet ordered your student a copy of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None please do that as soon as possible. We will be starting it as soon as remote learning begins after break.
Monday: Work on Christmas Around the World
Tuesday: Watch 8th Grade and Kindergarten Christmas Prayer Service, finish Christmas Around the World Project.
Monday: Watch O. Henry Stories
Tuesday: Watch O. Henry Stories and discuss how they are similar and different from the stories we read in class.
If you have not yet bought your student a copy of Animal Farm by George Orwell please do that as soon as possible as we will begin reading it right after break.
I feel truly blessed that we have been able to be in person here at St. Cletus so far this year and been able to live stream our classes to the remote learners. It has given all of us a sense of normalcy in an otherwise odd year. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and that 2021 brings all us joy, health, happiness, and a return to what we know.
