I. Welcome and Introductions
Brendan Foley, President of the Athletic Association, welcomed everyone back for the first meeting of the 2018-2019 school year.
II. Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer Yolanda Caron provided a “Profit & Loss” statement reflecting the first payment of $10,000
from registration feed was received. Also a $500 insurance payment was received for the Cheerleader
uniforms destroyed in a fire. After disbursements for fees for fall sports and uniforms there is a net
income of $1,287.17.
III. Athletic Director Report
a. New admission fees for attending sports was approved by all schools in the league. Fees this
year will be: $5 for family; $2 for adults; and $1 for students.
b. The Athletic Association will introduce a family pass for attendance at St. Cletus sports. The
family pass will be a one-time payment of $30 and will provide access for your family to any St.
a. Homecoming Game is Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:00pm at Nazareth Academy vs. St Francis
Xavier. A parade will depart 54th and Stone at 11:30am. Gates open at 12:00pn. Wear Red to
support your Cardinals!
V. Fall Sports Update
a. Football: 4 games into the season and everything is going well. Thank you to all who have
volunteered so far this season
b. Flag Football: there have been approximately 30 kids for the first 2 sessions. Next week will be
the last session this season.
c. 7th & 8th grade Girls’ Volleyball and Basketball season are going well.
VI. Old/New Business
a. Boy’s Basketball Uniforms – everything is ordered and will be ready before the season begins.
b. Volunteers are needed to fill the following coaching / coordinator vacancies:
6th Grade Girls Basketball
c. Athletic Association: We are in need of new members for the Athletic Association for a number
of positions including board members and coordinators. Anyone interested should contact any
member of the current Athletic Association
