Mrs. Cindy Kasnicka is one of our new first grade teachers. She is an experienced teacher working in the Catholic school system her entire life. She attended Northern Illinois University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She has areas of concentration in Math, Language Arts and Early Childhood. She taught at St. John the Baptist in Harvey, St. George in Tinley Park and St. Joseph in Summit. She loves to read, swim, and do yoga. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves to travel, and see new places. She loves children and animals. She is happy to be at St. Cletus this year and is excited to teach first grade. Her goals for her students are to learn how to read and write, to understand math, and learn about the church. She wants her classroom to be a place of learning, and also wants her students to be happy when they come to school.
