Mrs. McCartney has been a member of the St. Cletus family since 2000. After student teaching with Mrs. Pauly in second grade, she taught fourth grade for four years and second grade since 2004. Mrs. McCartney has a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois Institute of Technology, working in Marketing for almost 10 years. She also has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Dominican University.  She maintains her certification in Elementary Education with a Social Sciences Endorsement.

Mrs. McCartney is also a certified Catechist. She continues to participate in various seminars and workshops which a focus on curriculum, management, and technology.
