Hello, parents!
It’s finally here, the St. Cletus Fall Fest! It starts today, with rides, food, drink, and bands. The Dunk Tank is also this evening. Come and purchase 6 throws for $10. It should be loads of fun.
God blessed us with beautiful weather. Let’s take advantage of it and come out and enjoy the fest.
Our curriculum in first grade is quite challenging, and we are busy learning new things everyday. Superkids is so much fun to read, and we LOVE our daily Heggerty phonics lessons. We did our first book report, and our classmates loved that we shared our books with them.
In Math class, we are busy making tens, adding doubles, and counting on. Addition is so much fun, especially when we using the connecting cubes to help us learn.
In Religion, we are learning about the Holy Trinity, and how there are 3 persons in one God. We are learning about the Mass, and how God is always present in our lives.
In Science, we are getting to know our new Science book, and also toured the Science lab. We can’t wait to start doing experiments and share our curiosity of science with our classmates.
In conclusion, we gather together as a parish and school family to enjoy the fall fest. Be sure to come out, as there surely is something for everyone.
