Looking Back…
*What a wonderful week we had! We read many stories about Easter and discussed the different days of the Holy Week. God Gave Us Easter was our favorite story! We made a centerpiece for our Easter table and were able to attend the Washing of the Feet service on Thursday. The first grade class did a beautiful job!
*Our Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success. We wore our bunny masks and collected more eggs than we could count. At the end of the hunt, each child adopted one of our Easter Stuffies. Thank you so much to all of the families for the candy donations. As always, you are so generous and it is greatly appreciated:)
*Counting jelly beans on our ten frames was a yummy math experience. We tasted all of the flavors and decided which were our favorites. After that we decorated our own eggs by cutting lots of “fancy” paper. We are becoming experts at cutting after all the practice we’ve had this past month.
*It was exciting to say good-bye to March and welcome April. Our new pattern is AABB. Calendar patterns have lead to lots of conversation and practice with patterns throughout our day. It is so amazing when our lessons become part of play times.
I would like to wish all of our Preschool families a very Happy Easter and break. I look forward to our return on April 17th. Our last 36 days together will action packed with lots more learning and fun:) It’s hard to believe our year is coming to a close. It has FLOWN by!
