This Week in 5th Grade:
We took our Winter iReady Diagnostic Test in Reading and Math. The students did an Amazing job staying on task, and working hard to do their personal best. I am very proud of the progress they have made!
Social Studies: iReady Testing
Science: We finished up Unit 4 on hoe living things grow and reproduce. Next week we will start Unit 5 on Ecosystems.
Reading: The students have been enjoying our Poetry unit. This week they wrote two Diamantes, a Cinquain, and a Concrete poem. Their creativity is phenomenal!
Religion: We are continuing in our book on St. John Neumann who left his home in Bohemia to become a Missionary Priest in the United State in the mid-1800’s.
Reminders: Invention Convention is DUE Jan. 26th and 2nd Trimester Book Report is DUE Feb. 14th
