Happy Valentine’s Day Week!
We had a wonderful time at our Valentine’s Day Party! We frosted cookies, played a guess the emoji game, and played Valentine Bingo.❤ Thank you to Mrs. Percival and Mrs. Bylina for helping out. Also, Mrs. Hodak for helping put everything together and taking pictures of all the class parties!
Social Studies: We started Unit 4 this week. In the next couple chapters we will be talked about the events leading up to and what happened during the American Revolution.
Science: Food chains/webs were discussed this week. We will be finishing up our chapter on energy exchange through ecosystems next week. The students will get the 2nd book of Science Fusion next week, and we will start on Unit 9 – The Rock Cycle.
Grammar: The student’s 5 paragraph essay on an extinct animal is due next week, and we will be talking about complex sentences and direct objects.
Reading: We finished reading the short story Road to Freedom, and will be having a vocabulary quiz next Friday.
Religion: This week we read Chapter 23 about living as Jesus’ Disciples. Next week we will be starting Growing with God.
