Looking Back…
*This week was all about space and the planets! We read lots of books about space, watched some great videos, and made rockets. Earth is our planet and we discussed how to take care of the planet we call home. We talked about the Sun, a great big star, and wished it would come out more so we can get back to outdoor recess.
*God gave us air and the letter “Ww” makes the sound of the wind. Our Jolly Phonics and our Religion lesson fit together perfectly this week. Our watermelon alphabet craft made us all wish we were munching on this yummy fruit. Soon!
*Bunnies are all over the Preschool room. Our 6th Grade Buddies helped us make shape bunnies, we counted bunnies at our math centers and we now have MORE bunny prints that have showed up! We think the bunny is heading to the fridge to get some food. Hopefully, he will leave us some fun Easter treats. Let’s see what happens next week 🙂
*A new month is here…APRIL! We began a new pattern and will have to wait until next week to finish. The Preschool Kiddos are becoming real experts naming and creating patterns. We have discovered that patterns are EVERYWHERE!
*Morgan was our last Cool Cat of the Week and he did a fantastic job. His show and tell was super cool. We tried to talk to some new friends on his Walkie Talkie radio…but no luck. It sure was fun!

Theme: Getting Ready for Easter
Literacy: Yy, Easter Basket letter centers, and rhyming
Math: Writing numerals 0-5, counting to 30 and decorating number eggs
Religion: Lesson 29-The Easter Story
Cool Cat of the Week: We are finished our Cool Cat Program. Thank you to all of the families for doing such an awesome job with your posters, books and show and tell items. I hope you enjoyed this special activity together as a family. We sure looked forward to it every week. What Cool Cats we have in Room 99!
Reminders…
We will be having an Easter Egg Hunt the week of April 11th. The day we choose will depend on the weather. Please send your child with a bag of wrapped candy for this fun activity. If possible, please send it by Friday, April 8th, so that the bunny can fill the eggs before that week. Thank you for your generosity:)
