Looking Back…
*I would like to thank all of the parents for meeting with me for Parent-Teacher Conferences. I really enjoyed talking with everyone. Thanks for all of your support and kind words. It was really a rewarding way to kick off the Thanksgiving Holiday.
*We learned about Advent and made Advent wreaths to display in our class and to send home. We lit our first candle this week!
*With such beautiful weather, we did a lot of walking. One of our walks was a Prayer Walk. We visited all of the beautiful statues and discussed each one.
*Our 6th Grade Buddies helped us make a Christmas Countdown Chain. We will be removing one link each day until break and then it can be completed at home when we leave for our Christmas break!
*Practicing our songs for the Christmas Program was a daily event. Next week, we will begin to practice in the Church.
*Letter review was our literacy focus. Jolly Phonics kept us singing all about the letters F, G, H, I and J. We are almost half way through the alphabet.
*Guiliana was our Cool Cat of the Week. Thank you so much for the farm masks and Christmas goody bags she brought for each student. What a special surprise!
