Full Day Preschool-January 7, 2022

Looking Back…(It was a short, but BUSY week!)
*We welcomed in our New Year with songs and art projects!  We
added the new year to our calendar and recycled 2021. It was
so nice to see all of our friends after our break.  We are looking
forward to lots of learning, friendship and exporation in 2022!
We also listened to a story called Squirrel’s New Year Resolutions.
Our class resolution is to do kind things every day:)
*We learned about our sense of sight this week and talked and explored all of the things we can see with our eyes.  We thanked God for our sight!
*We finished the letter “Mm” this week and made a cool moose.  It is hard to believe we are half-way through the alphabet!  Time sure
flies when you are learning your letters 🙂
* We reviewed our numbers 0-5 this week and counted with lots of snowflakes in our centers.  Our new calendar pattern is AABB.
Our calendar numbers are snowflake, snowflake, snowman, snowman.
*We welcomed back Mrs. Fary as our full-time aide.  Mrs. Patty will
be joining the half-day Preschool for the new year.

Supplemental Supplies are now due from those students whose last names begin with N through Z.  A note was sent home in the folders during the week.  Thanks for your help in keeping us healthy!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
*Go on a looking walk and talk about all the things your eyes can see!
*Make patterns at home.  You can use toys, food and many other things found around your house.
*What is our New Year?  How did you celebrate as a family?
*Find letter “Mm” things all around.  We have five “Mm” friends in our class.  Can you name these friends?
