Full Day Preschool-March 11, 2022

Looking Back…

*It was so wonderful to talk with all the parents at conferences on Thursday!  Being able to meet in person was really great.  Hearing how much the kids loved school made me so happy.  I am looking forward to all that is to come in this last trimester:)
*Dr. Seuss was our focus again and we continued to have lots of fun with rhyming words and silly characters.  We counted and sorted in our Dr. Seuss Math centers, read many more books and celebrated with our Wacky Wednesday dress-up day.  Mismatched shoes, backwards clothes, silly socks and crazy hair was loads of fun.  Even the teachers were wacky!
*Our 6th Grade Buddies helped us create artwork for the Spring Auction-Under the Big Top.  This event takes place Saturday, April 2nd.  Please consider buying a ticket to this festive fundraiser 🙂
*All of the Preschool kiddos LOVE animals.  God Gave Us Animals was our lesson this week.  Our favorite animals were fun to draw and display in our classroom.
*With Spring so close, it was a great time to learn all about rainbows!  We created Rainbow “Rr” art and read rainbow books.  I forsee more rainbow fun in our future.
*Clark was our Cool Cat this week.  His Buzz Lightyear show and tell certainly was cool 🙂
*Celebrating Morgan’s birthday was yummy.  Thanks, Morgan, for the awesome cupcakes and goody bags.

*Please keep rhyming at home.
*Next week we will learn all about the letter “Uu” and we will be reading some silly books!  What are they about?
*Counting objects is a skill we work on each week.  Practice counting objects at home.  Make counting a fun experience by counting food or toys.
