Our first week of school was so much fun! We spent our week getting to know all of our new friends. We focused on learning our new routines and procedures. Pete the Cat hung out with us and we enjoyed many of his stories. He will be staying with us the whole year because the kids love him and he loves the kids:) We certainly were COOL CATS rocking our Pete hats the very first day. Our first painting project was a huge success and our first week handprints are hanging in Room 105 to enjoy for a bit. They will be coming home in a week or two for you to enjoy at home. We love our classroom… but we also explored many other places in our school this week. We visited the office, checked out the library, went on a letter hunt, played in the courtyard, took a walk around our campus and took part in an all-school fire drill! I was so proud of how well we did during the drill. Specials began this week and we met Mr. Ochoa, our TLC/Spanish teacher, and our P.E. teacher, Ms. Pryor.
