Half Day Preschool-March 9, 2023

Looking Back…
*Dr. Seuss was our theme this week and we were busy!  We finished up our second week of Dr. Seuss by making our own Cat in the Hats, illustrating what we would do if the Cat in the Hat visited our homes, reading many more stories written by Dr. Seuss and practicing our letter and numeral formation on our new Cat in the Hat dry erase boards.
*Our first visit to the Lenten Altar was special.  We all drew pictures of our own special Lenten prayers.  We prayed for our families, our friends and our classmates.  We will continue to visit the altar once a week during the season of Lent.  During our Religion time, we thanked God for animals and discussed the different types of animals that he gave us.  We illustrated many different types of animals that we love.
*Our letter of the week was “Tt” and our Jolly Phonics was all about a tennis match.  The turtles we created are hanging out in our classroom with our snakes from last week.  Next week, we will be busy reviewing the letters from the past five weeks.
*I would like to thank all of the parents for coming to Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday.  Your positive comments and support mean so very much.  It is such a pleasure to be with your children each day.  Thank you for sharing them with me.  Enjoy the long weekend:)
