Half-day Preschool-Oct. 7, 2022

Looking Back…
*What a busy Fall week!  Letter “Ee” was our focus and our gray elephants are looking good hanging out in the classroom while we crack lots of eggs during Jolly Phonics.  This week was extra excellent:)
*Focusing on our two feet that God gave us was really a lot of fun.  Running, jumping, skipping and dancing are just a few of the many things we experienced this week.  We ended our week taking a great Fall walk with our thankful preschool feet.
*Number five was alive this week.  We counted finger buttons on our ten frames, played ducks and dice and looked all over for rectangles. Each day we are counting during our circle time and we reached 30 this week.  Excitement is in full swing for the number 31 on our calendar-Halloween!
*Pumpkins were everywhere this week.  We read about how pumpkins grow, made shape pumpkins, decorated our pumpkins with letters and counted real pumpkins and gourds.  Next week we will carve our classroom pumpkin and use our five senses to explore the inside of our pumpkin.
*Hooray for Harry, our PBIS winner of the week!  We are all so proud of you.
