Looking Back…
*All week we celebrated Red Ribbon Week! We decorated our door with red ribbons. We donated food in red packages. We played games with our Buddies and wore our pajamas. We made a very big red ribbon and took a photo with the entire school and ended our week wearing our favorite sportswear. Most importantly, we learned lots of ways to keep our bodies healthy. What a fun week we had 🙂
*Letter “Gg” was our focus this past week. Making ghosts and listening to our Jolly Phonics had us singing all about the gurgling water going down the drain. We love all of our Jolly Phonics songs!
*Halloween math centers, counting to 31(for our Halloween countdown), and reviewing and sorting shapes kept us busy. Our favorite Math activity this week was our number walk. We found lots of numbers all around our campus…1, 2(the apple door)3(OUR DOOR), 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 13, 14, 15, 20 and 70.
*An author visited St. Cletus and read us a really fun story! Thank you, Megan Dagnino, for reading Witch’s Brew to us. It was so much fun watching you make the brew.
*God gave us all wonderful voices. We discussed all the ways we can use our voices-praying, singing, talking, whispering and shouting. Our story this week was all about Freckles, the barking dog. It was fun to retell the story using props.
*Congratulations to our PBIS winner, Emmie, for excellent behavior!
