Looking Back…
*This week we continued learning and practicing our routines and procedures. Learning these will ensure we have a great school year.
In addition to our classroom procedures, we practiced a tornado drill and a lockdown drill. Although we never hope to have to use these, the kids need to be prepared. They did AWESOME!
*We also participated in an all-school Mass on Wednesday. Again, we did an awesome job. We will begin attending the weekly Tuesday Mass on September 13th.
*Letters are all around us. We explored them in the classroom and throughout the school! We created a special project with our letter. Your child’s “letter” is the first letter in their name.
*Our first Chalk Walk was so much fun. We stopped many times to draw pictures and find letters and numbers. The St. Cletus campus now has some really cool Preschool chalk art.
*Last, we met our Buddies from 5th Grade. They will be sitting with us each week in church and joining us for many fun activities throughout the year.
