03/09 Update

Thanks to everyone who attended Parent Teacher Conferences.  If you were unable to attend, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Eighth Grade parents should be on the lookout within the next week or two for an agreement to be signed by parents and students pertaining to guidelines and expectations for the Springfield trip on March 30th.  Remember, the bus is leaving at 6:30 a.m.

In Seventh Grade, students have been preparing for the U.S. Constitution Test that will take place on March 15th.  Some time preparing over the long weekend may be helpful.  They also recently completed a persuasive essay relating to the life of Sister Clare  Crockett.  I encourage you to ask your children about the life of this saintly woman.

I’ve been trying to implement content related to Women’s History Month across all three levels.  So both Social Studies and LA content will have elements of this mixed in throughout the rest of the month.

Sixth Grade has begun learning about Ancient Rome and had been covering homographs and homophones.

Let’s have a great last trimester of the year!
