Parents & Guardians,
As many of you know by now, my wife and I welcomed our second child in January. One of the benefits that the Archdiocese of Chicago provides its employees is the opportunity to take up to 12 weeks of parental leave. Mine will begin on Monday March 14th, and it will extend until the end of the school year. My last day will take place on the same day as parent teacher conferences.
Mrs. Nikki Gorman will be covering for me while I am gone. We are extremely grateful that she will be taking on this role. Thanks to Mrs. Gorman’s experience in covering parental leaves, serving as an aide and substitute at our school, and her familiarity with St. Cletus, I am certain that this will be a relatively easy transition for our students. Although Mrs. Gorman and I will be collaborating on some of the lesson planning, please know that classroom management and procedures will be based upon her decisions.
My family is grateful that this opportunity to be home with the baby has been made available to us. I sincerely appreciate the support of the St. Cletus families, our administrators, and the faculty during this time for our family.
