Preschool 3-November 10, 2023

This week we began our Thanksgiving theme!  Sharing read alouds about gratitude has been really special.  We shared our Disguise-A-Turkeys with each other and applauded each friend!  All of the kids were very proud of their turkeys.  Our Preschool families did an AWESOME job creating these disguises. Please continue to send your turkeys to school next week.  We would love to have more turkeys join the gang:)  These cool turkeys will be hanging out in the hall for Parent Teacher Conferences.  However, you won’t even know they are turkeys anymore:)  It was so exciting to celebrate another birthday!  Happy Birthday to Lilly and thanks for the yummy treats.  Birthdays are the best in Preschool.  Letter “Gg” was our focus.  We created gardens by using our watercolors to paint lots of flowers.  The focus letter next week will be “Hh” and we have a very cool project coming up.  First trimester assessments began this week and will continue throughout the following week.  Please be sure to sign up for a parent teacher conference.  You should have received an email link to choose a time.  I am really proud of how far the Preschool Kiddos have come in the past 53 days.

Reminders…
*Please continue to dress for the weather.  We are really enjoying the brisk fall weather and it is so important for us to move our bodies each day in the fresh air.
*Some of us are beginning to independently put our coats on and zip them, too!  Thanks for your attention in practicing these life skills at home.  Please continue to practice this at home as we build our independence.
