This week..We extended our lesson from last week, taking care of God’s Earth – Earth Day, learning about respecting different animals and their habitats. The children learned about what animals get from their habitat, and worked on crafts related to the lesson. The children learned about St. Cletus and visited his statue located in front of the parish center. They received an ice cream treat in celebration of his feast day. We joined the school community in the monthly PBIS celebration and, in a special mass in honor of the induction of St. Cletus Junior Honor Society. The children had donuts as a special treat on Thursday. Finally, we enjoyed getting outside every day this week to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.
Looking forward…we will learn about Lei Day- a celebration of Hawaiian culture, and Cinco de Mayo.
