This week…the children learned about St. Patrick’s Day, and St Patrick, and how he was forgiving, and used the shamrock to explain The Holy Trinity as one – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The children had a chance to try lime soda and green-sprinkle covered cookies. The reviews were mixed – thumbs up / thumbs down. To promote a fun day for the students, the National Junior Honor Society hid two coins in each classroom, students that located the coins were able to select a sweet treat from the office. Today, we were treated with a performance by the Trinity Irish Dance Company. The children really enjoyed being a part of this experience, as we watched a video of a dance company performance earlier in the week. The students also had a chance to try out a pair of bongos. Everyone took turns beating the bongos. They were a hit!
Looking forward to next week…we welcome spring.
God Bless,
Mrs. Davis
