This week..we started the week joining our school community in mass. As the 8th grade class and First Communion students participated in the presentation of May Crowning. We spent our week learning about insects, specifically bees and ants. The students knew a lot about insects, and learned new vocabulary such as exoskeleton and antennae. The students also worked very hard on their Mother’s Day cards and gifts. The student council sponsored a fundraiser for the Violet Foundation. (Information was sent home on Friday, via email.) Have a happy Mother’s Day.
Looking Forward..we will extend our lesson on insects as we observe and learn about butterflies.
