Can you say Christmas Excitement?!   We sure can!

This week we have focused on the Holy Family and the story of Jesus.  We have listened to stories about the Jesse tree and have talked about our Christmas program too.  The joy of Christmas everywhere!

How are the count down chains coming?   I bet they are getting shorter!

We worked on our special Christmas gift and recognizing our numbers and letters.  Our big brown box made for fun, imaginative play for most of the week, but finally fell apart.  I strongly encourage  you to keep one around over Christmas break.  It may just occupy your child’s time for hours of fun!  Add markers or crayons and watch their creativity come alive!

” Angels we have heard on High”  this reminds me of the angel project we made.   I had such joy with this project!  We have lots of preschoolers with ticklish feet!

Thank you for all the donations to our food pantry!   We will take our final walk, of our 6 weeks of donations, to the food pantry on Monday.   As a class, we raised just over $60 to donate for the Giving Tree project.   Thank you!!

Next week is a short week with activity each day!  We will have our “dress rehearsal” in front of our buddies on Monday and our mini program for parents and other family adults on Tuesday – 9:30 am in the church. Half day students stands in front of the baptismal font!  Wednesday, we will attend the 9:30 am all school Christmas Mass.

We will attend 8am Mass on Tuesday as well!

When we are not in church next week, we will have relaxed center time activities.

There are so many blessings to be counted and I count your child as one of mine, every day!

God bless all of you and your families.  May you have a very Merry Christmas as we celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

It’s a GREAT Day to be a Cardinal! (especially in Half Day prek!)
