Half Day November 12th

Half Day was busy this week learning new songs, focusing on new sounds and learning new games.   We talked about how many bones we have in our body ( ask them if they know) and how we are all the same on the inside, but are like a garden of flowers on the outside.  We are blessed to be children of God and all be friends in our school.

We took our second trip to the food pantry!  We dropped off jelly last week and pasta sauce this week. We will be collecting Instant Potatoes next week.  We heard from a dentist how important it is to take care of our teeth and eat healthy foods, practiced our lock down drill and being very quiet in our hiding spot!

During our one to one correspondence with numbers we practiced with duckies, stamps, and acorns.  We continue to focus on letter names and letter sounds.  Next week we will be working with the letter Ll, the color pink and our sense of smell.

Remember to sign up for parent teacher conferences.

Save the date for our mini Christmas program on December 21st at 9:30am.   We are so blessed to be at such a wonderful school with wonderful children and families!

It’s a GREAT Day to be a Cardinal! (especially in half day pre k!)
