This week…in our classroom we have been learning about advent and the coming of Jesus. The children made advent wreaths, listen to an advent story, and learned about Mary and Joseph. The children also had an opportunity to share their collections with the class. They were so excited to share, and the other children were excited to explore the collections. We have been learning about ordinal numbers and following sequential order. Over the next few weeks the children will work in small groups to explore sequential order. The first group worked together today, to make Kool-Aid. All of the children loved tasting the final product.
Next week..we will continue learning about Mary and Joseph, and preparing for Jesus’ birth, and continue working on ordinal numbers, sequential order, as well as, learning about winter animals.
