This week was lots of fun! The highlight of the week has been, of course, the cicadas. The kids are all so excited and it has been a great experience to watch them emerge for the past two weeks. We have been busy reviewing all of the great things we have learned this year. On Monday, we received our ECLIP certificates from Ms. Sonia during a special ceremony. She has done a fantastic job teaching the children another language. We are all so grateful for all she has done and is very much loved and appreciated by all of us in Room 108. Our 4th May birthday was celebrated. Thank you, to Sienna and her family, for the yummy cupcakes and the Pez candy treat. SO COOL. We are in the process of completing our end of the year handprints and they are being proudly displayed in our hall! All of these “lasts” have been bittersweet for sure. It is hard to believe we have only eight days left together. I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend:)

*If your child has a summer birthday and you would like to celebrate, please contact me and we can choose a date before the year ends.
*Please be sure your child has an extra set of weather appropriate clothing and shoes in their backpack.
*Summer Camp spaces are still available for preschool and kindergarten. The classes take place from June 10-28. You can enroll for one, two or all three weeks. This camp will be hosted by our very own ECLIP teacher, Ms. Sonia, so it is sure to be a wonderful experience. Please contact our school office if you have any questions or wish to enroll.
