Quality Education

St. Cletus School’s Early Childhood Program offers a high-quality education designed to foster growth, achievement, discovery, and creativity. Our engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and interactive projects make learning enjoyable while equipping your child with essential skills for future success. Rooted in our Catholic faith, we instill values of respect, kindness, compassion, and generosity in every student.

Catholic Values

Your children are your most treasured assets. Their safety and success is your most important responsibility. But beyond what they learn, it is your responsibility to help them become the best person they can be. Choosing a Catholic education gives your children more than an educational advantage, it also helps them understand their purpose in life and their obligations to others, reinforcing the values you live at home.

About Our Early Childhood Program

Preschool

The St. Cletus Preschool program focuses on the development of the whole child in a faith-based atmosphere. Throughout the day children participate in the following activities: prayer, play, music, math, art, calendar, technology, stories, and more. The Preschool curriculum provides children with the opportunities for social/emotional development, large and fine motor development. In all our grade levels, faith is taught across the curriculum and in Preschool we incorporate the “I Am Special” curriculum. St. Cletus Preschool is open to all children who will be turning 3 or 4 by September 1st.  Learn about all the great things happening in the classroom by visiting our Preschool webpage.

Junior Kindergarten

The Junior Kindergarten preschool program allows students to work towards developing Kindergarten-level skills in a developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning environment. Your child will be immersed in a faith-filled, values-based setting where they’ll learn to see and feel the love of God all around them! Junior Kindergarten adds an enriched social and emotional component to help develop confident, caring children who will love learning and have the problem-solving skills necessary to be successful in Kindergarten and beyond! Junior Kindergarten is a great start to your child’s journey through St. Cletus, a Catholic learning environment, where we focus on the WHOLE child.  Click HERE to view our Junior Kindergarten goals.  You can also visit our Junior Kindergarten webpage to see what our students are learning.

Dual Language Immersion Preschool & Kindergarten

The DLI program is a form of bilingual education in which students are taught literacy and academic content in Spanish and English.  It offers a unique opportunity for students to excel academically and learn a second language. Our DLI program will foster bilingualism, bi-literacy, enhanced awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and high levels of academic achievement through instruction in two languages.  To learn more about the program, please visit our DLI information page. You can also explore the Preschool DLI webpage to learn more about what children are experiencing and learning in the program.

Kindergarten

The structure of the Kindergarten classroom is meant to encourage interaction between students. Our “center-based” classroom means students spend much of the day in small learning groups working and playing together with their peers.  “Second Step” is the social emotional curriculum we use to help students build social-emotional skills including managing emotions, problem solving, meeting goals and nurturing positive relationships.  These are skills that students need for both school and life!  Click HERE to view our Kindergarten goals.  You can also visit our Kindergarten webpage to see all the great things happening in the classroom!
