Pre-K 3 Newsletter January 9

Happy Friday Families!

Welcome back! We had a wonderful first week returning after Winter Break. The kids did a great job settling back into the classroom and getting back into our daily routines.

This week, we focused on reviewing our classroom rules and routines. We practiced listening, taking turns, and using kind hands as we worked together to ease back into the school schedule.

We also enjoyed some fun winter activities:
• A sensory bin with kinetic sand and counting bears, where children explored textures while practicing counting and fine motor skills
Winter-themed coloring sheets to encourage creativity and strengthen hand muscles

Happy New Year fork painting where children used forks to create colorful firework designs while celebrating the new year!

It was great to see everyone reconnect with friends and jump back into learning. We are excited for all the fun and growth ahead as we continue our winter learning!

**Check your child’s backpack to see that they have a weather appropriate change of clothes in case of an accident! We also ask that everyone has an extra change of shoes just in case!

Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
*What color was the sand in the sensory bin this week? (Blue!)
*What did you use to make your firework painting? (a fork!)
*How did you feel coming back to school after winter break?
Have an amazing weekend,
