Here is what we did in Pre-K 3/4 this week!
Looking back…
- We learned about President’s Day!
- We learned about the sounds er and ar as well as writing numbers 1-10.
- We are continuing to notice the middle sound in words, rather than just the beginning and ending sounds.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR…
- Friday, February 20th: Stations of the Cross (2:30pm)
- Sunday, February 22nd: Family Mass (10:30am)
REMINDERS…
- Please check your child’s folder daily, especially Wednesdays.
- Conferences just for our class will take place next week Monday-Wednesday and I will send you a zoom link for the day you signed up for.
Let’s Give Them Something to Talk About…
Below are some suggestions to engage your child in a conversation about what they did at school!
- What does the president do? (make rules)
- What would you do if you were president? (answers will vary)
- What sound does er make? What sound does ar make? (er says /er/ and ar says /ar/)
- Practice writing numbers 1-10.
- Continue to practice spelling and tracing/writing your child’s first name.
