Hello Cardinal Families,
We have wrapped up the St. Cletus History Fair! I am so thrilled with how it went and how hard the 7th graders worked on their posters and research! Stay tuned for a message if your child will move onto the Chicago History Day on Saturday, March 8th.
Pretty soon, we will jump into another big part of 7th grade social studies: The Constitution. At the end of the unit, students will be tested on the U.S. and Illinois Constitutions, which must be passed before the end of 7th grade.
We will also begin reading new novels soon in 7th and 8th Grade Lit, right after we finish our poetry unit. 8th grade has a test this coming Monday, while 7th grade will have a poetry booklet due tentatively next Friday. I hope you all enjoy your weekend (students have no school tomorrow), and if you are watching the Super Bowl or attending the St. Cletus Super Bowl party, that you have a great time!
