Tales of the Third Grade EVERYTHING

Hello Third Grade Families!

Hope you are enjoying a long weekend!!  We celebrated Michael Delsino’s September 24th birthday on Thursday with cupcakes decorated with red and white frosting and basketballs.   The students also did an amazing job with their poem presentations!!  I am so proud of all of them.  I am really looking forward to seeing the presentations become more animated as the year goes on.  We had our first book report presentation from Grace M this week as well.  Please remember that September book reports are Due on September 29th.  The students will begin presentations on Thursday and continue into the following week.

Our PBIS program is under way and really having a wonderful effect on all of our students in the school.  Thursday the 22nd Lilly Burns’ name was pulled from our class room box as this week’s winner.  Lilly chose a RUBIC cube as her prize.  CONGRATULATIONS Lilly keep up the great work and SUPER attitude!!

Students have MANY different opportunities in the classroom to earn PBIS tickets everyday.  Some of the ways are FULLY completing and turning in homework NEATLY and ON TIME.  Following ALL directions and NEATLY completing classwork assignments the same day.  Memorizing multiplication facts 0 to 12 (the students get 1 ticket for each set of facts memorized.)  There will be many more opportunities added through the year.
