This week…the children enjoyed the long awaited “foam party”. The children had a fantastic time! They also enjoyed cotton candy and snow cone treats. In Science, we completed our final lab by observing evaporation of water puddles and condensation on soda cans and water bottles; as well as recording the temperature of water that averaged from 55 degrees fahrenheit to 150 degress fahrenheit. We also started learning how to crochet. Lessons were provided by several of our 6th grade buddies. The children exhibited great concentration as they focused on learning this new skill.
We celebrated two birthdays. Happy Birthday Lucas! Happy Birthday Jonathan!
Next week, we will bid farewell to the 2023-2024 school year. We will attend our weekly Mass on Tuesday, clean our classroom on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, participate in the annual Field Day activites – for which we are to wear yellow shirts. Thursday will be the last day of school, we will attend our final school Mass in the morning.
God Bless,
Mrs. Davis
