Half Day Preschool-April 21, 2023

Looking Back…
*This week was all about taking care of the Earth…our planet!  We decorated our hall board with beautiful Earth projects.  A heart was added to show how much we love the planet God made for all of us.  Our Bible story this week, God Made Many Things, discussed the creation of the world, the sun, the moon and the stars.  We read many stories about how to take care of the Earth.  The preschool kiddos know that everyday is Earth Day and it is the responsibility of each of us to care for the Earth.  We concluded our week by cleaning the Earth all around our school campus.  Little hands can do big things was evident by the amount of litter we collected.
*Our letter this week was “Ww” and we created watermelon letters.  We decided we will soon need  to share some real watermelon.  Our Jolly Phonics was all about the West Wind blowing all around!  It is hard to believe that we only have 3 letters left to study.
*God gave us the birds!  We learned about different types of birds and were on the lookout during our morning walks.  We made little books about birds and decorated a birdhouse.  Our discussion was all about the many things birds can do and what bird we would bring to school if we could.  Guess what bird was the most chosen…the CARDINAL, of course!
*Being able to spend time with our Buddies on a beautiful Spring day was a special way to end our week:)  We walked and talked and created some very cool chalk art.  Our Buddies have been great role models throughout the year and we are very grateful to spend time with them whenever we can!
*Congrats to our PBIS Winner of the Week, Alex, for being so kind to her friends:)
