Half-day Preschool-December 16, 2022

Looking Back…
*
What a busy and fun-filled week we had in Preschool.  We are still busy preparing for our Christmas program, we finished our family gifts, lit our pink candle on our Advent Wreaths and painted our holiday handprints!  All of our Christmas projects will be sent home next week for families to enjoy at home 🙂
*Grinch Day was so much fun.  We wore our Grinchy green clothes and created our own Grinches!  The best part of our day was that we were “Grinched” on Grinch Day and what a mess he left in our classroom.  He even took a photo of himself in our room and displayed it on the smartboard.  We are still trying to figure out how he got into our school???
*Our letter this week was “Ll” and we created lots and lots of lightbulbs.  Jolly Phonics had us singing all about licking our lollipops.  Next week we will be half-way through the alphabet.  Time sure flies when you are learning letters and singing their songs 🙂
* Our week ended with a wonderful Christmas celebration!  We decorated Oreo houses, made ornaments, played games and enjoyed delicious snacks.  Thank you so much to our AMAZING room representative, Mrs. Coklas, for all of her hard work.  The kids had a wonderful time.  Also, thanks to all the families for the donations for our party.  All of our families are so generous and we truly appreciate all that you do for us.
