Happy Catholic Schools Week! Monday the students wore sport tops. Today we celebrated mass with our buddies.
A few updates…
Tomorrow is dress down spirit wear. Thursday we will have full dress down and get to spend sometime with our buddies. Friday is red/white games–students have been advised which team/colors to wear.
Thank you to all that came out Sunday to the Open House. I had a chance to look at the History Fair projects yesterday mornig –they are very impressive!
I just handed out the practice quiz for Module 5–we will have a math quiz on Friday. This includes percent change, mark-ups, and markdowns. These are very practical problems as we navigate sales tax, tips, and simple interest.
We also just finished the second diagnostic test for i-ready. If your child did not pass within seventh grade level, I have advised they see Mrs Jarka (SC Math Coach) on Wednesday/Thursday. Seventh grade is an important math year as we prepare for eighth grade when students do get placed in specific math groups by i-ready score. If you have any questions about math groups, math coach, scores, etc – please do not hesitate to email me.
