JK Newsletter April 21, 2023

Welcome back! I hope you all had a blessed Easter and a nice time together! Spring Break went so quick, and the weather could not have been more perfect!

Willy Wonka was AMAZING! The kids got a chance to see their buddies and the the Jr high perform the dress yesterday! We have 2 more shows today, at 4pm and 7pm! Tickets sold at the door for $12.

Our School auction is next week.  Thank you to those who donated the art supplies for our classroom basket! Whoever wins the highest bid is going to have a very happy child:) You can also sign up for a JK open gym, or Bid to win a painting class for your JK child with Mrs. Hogan afterschool  and 2 friends!

We hope your able to attend, Mrs. Jacobs and I will be there!

This week we have been talking about Earth Day and different ways you can make a difference. I hope your children have been sharing with you all the fun facts they are learning!

Religion: We are focusing on the Goodness God brings us always. We show God’s love by being kind to one another. BE KIND, is in our morning message each morning, we hope you are seeing your children doing that:)

Literacy: We are looking for POPcorn words in our daily message and in our books.  The children help spot them in our morning message each day. Please continue that when you’re reading to your children at home!

Math: We are focusing on numbers 10-30 with recognizing them and writing them with proper formation.

Social Studies:  All things EARTH and Spring this week.  We are really enjoying the weather reports each morning.  Your kids have gained such confidence reporting the weather, and the audience has been amazing listeners and supporters of their classmates.

Have a great weekend,

The JK TEAM
