What a great Catholic Schools week! We had so much fun! Thanks to all the families who stopped in and said “Hello” on Sunday. Our school is a great place to learn grow, and we have a LOT of fun while doing it!
Valentines Party– We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 13th with a party for the classroom. With the beginning of Lent on Valentine’s Day, and 10:am mass for ashes, we will keep that day for passing out Valentine’s as a class. I will be sending a detailed note about Valentines on Monday!
Monday we will have one last Day with the Arctic animals. With the Red and White game today, and Groundhog’s day, I will sneak in our last activity on Monday:)
Religion: We will be focusing on LOVE and Friendship for the Valentine’s day. God asks one thing of us, and that’s to LOVE ONE ANOTHER! We do that by treating our friends with Love, respect and kindness each day!
Literacy: Your children are doing amazing with Phonic Awareness each day. They are becoming so confident with letter sounds and identifying beginning- middle and ending sounds, segmenting words and building them.
Math: Graphing, tallies, and games are everyday work that gets them ready for working with larger numbers!
Science: The Meteorology weather reports are going great! We are also enjoying the sensory table and and the Artic animals!
