We hope you are staying warm, this has been a cold and snowy week! We ave had the parish center to run around, but we all miss the fresh air.
With only a few days under our belt with the new school year, we are excited for a full week ahead!
Some things to ask your children about from this week:
- Did your ice berg at the sensory table sink or float? Did you use ice cubes or animals or both?
- What classroom job would you like to have next week?
- Who won the PBIS prize in the classroom this week?
Religion: We are getting ready to celebrate Catholic schools week. The Theme this year is United in Faith and Community. please mark your calendars and tell friends who are looking for schools to come on by! We will have 10:30 Mass on January 28th, and open house after that from 11-2! We hope you stop by and see all the fun things your children have been doing.
Literacy: We will continue to review our Jolly Phonics.
Math: We are graphing, playing number games each day at Calendar time, centers and even in line waiting for specials.
Social Studies/Science: We will be learning many different facts about different arctic animals.
