Happy New Year! Winter has arrived and we have lots of fun ahead of us in 2022!
All of your kids have grown so much since Christmas, it was so fun to see it!
We are starting this new year off with signing our classroom “oath” of classroom rules expectations. We are also staring off with fresh pencil boxes. The children now have new “thin” crayons and” thin” pencils! So fun! This is a big step for them all, but with Kindergarten around the corner, they are ready!
As the bitter cold weather continues we will be having recess in gym. When it gets in the 30’s , we will be doing walks around the school grounds and then some indoor gym time as well.
Literacy: We will be reviewing the letters and continuing to work on rhyming words.
Math: We will be continuing to practice sorting, pattering and graphing through fun hands on games at calendar and in center time!
Science/Social Studies: We will making predications for weather and snow and lots of fun hands on science experiments too!
