JK Newsletter November 3rd, 2023

What a week! We had a blast celebrating Halloween! Thank you to the room moms for coming in and providing such a fun party for the kids.  It was also so great to see so many of you at the Trunk or Treat. Thank you for braving the cold and snow!

We had fun welcoming the month November, the month of gratitude, love and so MUCH to be thankful for!

Things to ask you children:

  • What is the “Grateful Pumpkin”?  What friends got a chance today to add to the pumpkin today?
  • Who was the Flag holder this week?
  • What colors did you paint your Turkey feather with?

Religion: We are so all very blessed, and your children love to share! Your children will be bringing home a 30 days of Thankful Calendar today.  I hope you enjoy these talking points through the month with the whole family!

Literacy: Jolly Phonics this week are letters /l/ and /f/. the children are doing amazing with their letter sounds and actions. I hope they are sharing them with you!

Math: We are busy working on counting and graphing through calendar and centers. The kids are doing great with number poems as well.

Science/Social Studies: We will be doing lots of learning about Thanksgiving in the weeks ahead.

Have a great weekend!
